Andy the Aspie was created by Shaun Underhay; an adult with Asperger’s Syndrome (a type of Autism) from Weston-super-Mare in the UK.  Whilst studying at University, he got the idea of an audio book of short stories to help people like himself navigate the struggles of daily life, to promote acceptance and the positive aspects of being Autistic, and how being different should not be a barrier to success or integration.  As a person with Asperger’s himself, he has dedicated much of his life to helping other people who are also on the Spectrum of Autistic Conditions.  There are currently 30 stories that have been recorded, but plans are to record a further 30 (and maybe even more still after that!) in the future.
